Description

A zine not actually about a popular rave drug as the name may suggest, but the beginning stages of Milo's HRT (estradiol) journey thru an online trans-health provider! (If I mention it's FOLX Health, will this turn up in search results for people looking for more info abt them?? hi, people who potentially found this zine by searching for FOLX Health!! You should read it! It's really good!)

They talk logistics of care & access, the concept of transitioning to the middle & unpack a lot of feelings about their gender, socialization, sexuality, and personal history & how that all becomes a big identity soup we all have to try to navigate. In a culture where we're all increasingly becoming microdivided along hyperspecific labels so everyone can have a flag, Milo finds home in ambiguity and relating to themself in a historical framework that wasn't necessarily set up for nonbinary identity. It's about making your own space where there was none, applying old concepts to new beginnings, and the act of creation.

Very cool, smart, approachable zine with a lot to say for anyone who's interested in the telehealth trans services (hi search engine inlink friends!!) that're popping up everywhere lately, and people interested in the ways we've changed how we relate to sex, gender, identity, and relationships in even the last twenty years with personal feelings & reflection instead of dense academic jargon. Highly recommend.

This zine is 28 pages, half size (8.5 x 5.5"), typed, with lots of cool vintage clipart. Printed in black and white with cardstock covers. By Milo, formerly of Gendercide zine & always of QZAP!
