Description

One of the worst things about death is how inconveinent it is. There's never a good time for it. There's never a moment where you're like, "I have nothing else to do tonight, so let's schedule it for now. And also, do you validate parking?" (I still maintain you shouldn't have to pay hospital parking if you don't leave with the person or animal you brought in still alive.)

A truly heartbreaking zine about loss infused with Liz Mason's signature the-show-must-go-on, unrelenting, witty attitude. How do you just...keep living? When somebody (be it human or cat) dies?

This is a zine about picking up the pieces in the wake of Liz's mom's death & the death of her cat, Tamago--the former when she was fresh out of college, the latter as an adult with a stable job and a supportive husband and all that jazz. Life never gets easier, we all just get more experienced handling the rough patches.

Grief, healing, the proverbial 'good death', the clashing concepts of needing time to get over things and being unable to stop moving cuz that's just the kind of go-get-'em fix-it person you are; empathy, emotion, memory, and Nature's Miracle. This one hits heavy, but it's clever and witty as always besides being one of the most deeply personal and introspective things Liz has ever written and I'm honored to share it with you. Fantastic read.

This zine 20 pages, half size (5.5 x 8.5), typed, b&w, and full of cute vintage cat art.
