Clumsy #9
$3.00
Description
When a perzine just happens right it's magic, and Agatha Thrash is a fucking wizard.
CLUMSY #9 is about crushes (unrequited), jobs (great and shitty), masturbation (just do it), rabbits (two!), small towns (fuck John Mellencamp), family, & trauma.
It's also about being penpals with your grandma, corporations ruining downtown, sex therapy (and getting bizzy with yourself as therapy), and how some things, you just can't shake. It reads like a punk house slumber party; that delightful sort of free-floating delirium when there's more coffee than sense in your bloodstream but you're surrounded by warmth & compassion & your best friends & you're just radiating with the whole spectrum of life. It's a straight shot of emotions & true-life anecdotes, no chaser. If you're not friends with Aggie, after this zine you should be.
It has fantastic collage layouts, too. I love a good cut-and-paste and Clumsy never fails to excite the "gotta glue things!" part of my brain. Just read it. You'll love it.
This zine is 40 pages, quarter size (4.25 x 5.5), typed, fully collaged, photocopied, and assembled with love.
